New Delhi: After the landmark deal that thawed tense relations between Islamic Republic of Iran and the world powers (P5 + 1), India is moving to grab her slice of the pie. India is eyeing the port of Chabahar in southeast Iran, which shall open doors to resource-rich Central Asia and landlocked Afghanistan.
India is a financer in the Iranian port in the Gulf of Oman. However, despite growing economic and security interests in the region, India has not pursued its Persian dream for fear of offending the States.
