Lamborghini Aventador and Gallardo unveiled in 2013 Autocar Performance Show in Mumbai

Mumbai: The 2013 Autocar Performance Show in Mumbai showcased the legendary Lamborghini Gallardo and iconic Lamborghini Aventador. The unmistakable machines stunned as head turned again and again to witness the historic and revolutionary cars.
 
The show was inaugurated by Mohammed Arif (Naseem) Khan who is the Minister for Textiles, Minorities Development and AUKAF, Guardian Minister of Mumbai (Suburban), Government of Maharashtra.
 
Built in Italy, Lamborghini has a history of revolutionary thinking. Whether in terms of design, like the iconic scissors doors, or in the terms of technology such as the V12 engine and carbon-fibre technology.
 
To be uncompromising and extreme Italian are Lamborghini’s core values and the reasons that make every Lamborghini breathtakingly unique. A key aspect of their design philosophy demands that every Lamborghini must be instantly recognisable.
 
The Aventador represents a whole new level of performance, sets new benchmarks in the super sports car segment, and provides a glimpse into the future. The carbon fibre body has aluminium front and rear frames. Aventador runs at a defining top speed of 350 kmph (217 mph).
 
The history of the V12 engine installed is inseparable from the history of legendary Lamborghini. The engine roars at a power of 700 HP with a max torque of 690 Nm. With 4WD transmission with Haldex generation IV Aventador has a 7 speed ISR gearbox with shifting characteristic depending on drive select mode. The machine has a dry double plate clutch.
